The warm waters
of the the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of south Florida make for prime
snorkeling. Coral reef formations and schools of tropical fish populate
areas that draw snorkeling enthusiasts from all around. The Twin Ledges,
about a half-mile off the cost of Fort Lauderdale beach, is one of the
best snorkeling spots in Ft. Lauderdale. You’ll see many varieties of
angelfish, parrotfish and trumpetfish. Most tours operate out of the
Bahia Mar marina, and you’ll have no trouble finding expert outfitters
and guides to lead you on a spectacular snorkeling adventure.
