For some of the
clearest, calmest waters in the Caribbean, come to Curacao. With
visibility ranging from 80 to 140 feet, you can see and explore the 80
miles of coral reef formations that surround the island. Curacao is home
to all sorts of colorful and unique tropical fish, and snorkelers will
be entranced by the variety of sea life on exhibit. In addition to the
colorful reef formations and schools of tropical fish, snorkelers are
likely to encounter sea turtles, eels and dolphins. These and other
wildlife enjoy the warm waters of this pristine island. And because
Curacao sits outside of the hurricane belt, the island is spared the
effects of most seasonal storms. You can snorkel right from the back at
places like
Playa Kalki beach, or take one of the many charters
available. |
