Waterproof

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012

Steve Miller once proclaimed “everything’s better when wet,” (see “Jungle Love”), and, as snorkeling enthusiasts, we’d have to agree. Except when it comes to computers.

Cool New Underwater Camera

Friday, May 13th, 2011

We’ve been shopping for an underwater video camera, and this is one of the handful of models that’s caught our eye: the Samsung W200.

The last few times we’ve been snorkeling, we’ve thought about bringing a camera. We used to have a simple point and shoot that we liked, but we lost that in an unfortunate catamaran incident a few years ago (don’t ask).  We also tested an Olympus that we liked. Now we’re thinking about getting a new camera of our own.

There are so many options out there, from disposables to point and shoots to waterproof housing for traditional cameras.

We’re going to have to do some research. Will advise.
